We had a very successful trip to Kolkata, India where we funded a water well in a village with a lack of clean water, gave 500 self care hygiene packets to abandoned women living in impoverished areas, donated 50 saarees (indian clothing) to them, and donated 55 self care packets to seniors living in a low-funded old age home.
Purchased an annual supply of feminine hygiene products for 150 girls in LAPIT primary school in Northern Uganda, provided reproductive health education sessions, and encouraged peer-learning sessions.
